Thursday, before hopping on the plane to go to Calgary, visited both Unwine’d and Bardot for their opening events.

6 cans of diet coke, 5 varieties of mentos, 1 mad scientist

Okay, a take on the “101 bottles of diet coke, 523 mentos, 2 mad scientists” where these two guys drop a bunch of mentos into bottles of diet coke causing small geysers, I want to know more!

1) what type of mentos works best for the reaction?
2) do other soft drinks cause the same reaction?

Tomorrow, I’ll perform the experiment.

Catch the action tomorrow when I take five varieties of mentos and put them head to head against one and other in their respective cans of diet coke.

A message from the Whitecaps FC in my Inbox yesterday…

Dear Raj,

A process that began on June 27th will come to a conclusion on Monday, July 10th.  All of the remaining speakers wishing to voice their opinion about the proposed Whitecaps Waterfront Stadium, along with the Whitecaps formal closing statement, will be heard on Monday at 7:30pm in Council Chambers (3rd floor of City Hall).  Council’s decision about the next steps for the stadium is expected on Tuesday, July 11th.

As we approach our last day before council, we want to thank those that have attended one of the first three sessions, and those planning to be at City Hall on Monday night.  Your commitment has been, and continues to be critical to the success of this project.  You have shown the Mayor and Council the kind of passion our supporters have for a downtown stadium at this great location.

We also appreciate the hundreds of emails and letters that have been sent to the City in support of the stadium.   Final emails can still be sent by clicking HERE.

Thank you again for your wonderful support.  We hope you enjoy the World Cup final on Sunday!
