UnWine’d on Howe Street

Someone has finally taken that attrocity known as Panama Jacks and has done something constructive with the location. Jeff Reid, formerly of Crush Lounge amongst many other things has opened up a Wine and Tapas Lounge called UnWine’d at 1180 Howe Street.

I went to check it out briefely yesterday but to my chagrin, I found out that it was only open from Tuesday to Saturday. So tonight, when I’m bar hopping with Winston from Impulse Energy (amongst many other great products), and before the Hedley Concert, I’ll make a point of checking it out.

Apparently the place has cpacity for 200 people, two patios and a room with a great feel.

    Just wondering if you have any knowledge whether the “Impulse Energy” that employs your friend Winston has anything to do
    with the Impulse Energy Corp. that just signed a deal involving
    Kurdish oil rights. It’s strange that “Impulse Energy” is also the
    name of a Gatorade clone energy drink, as well as that of a
    (Calgary based?) energy company. Any information would
    be appreciated.
