    Taking care?!

Today whilst riding the elevator to the 36th floor with the concierge to scope out a spot on the roof to view tonight`s fireworks (apparently it`s the big secret in one of the buildings we frequent), I see this cute asian girlcome in… think nothing of it…

Upon getting to the top floor, I get shown the exit, get handed the keys, etc.. all in all, a 2 minute process.. max..

We get back in the elevator and proceed to the ground floor… back to continue our days. Now, on the way down the same girl gets in the elevator. I make some comment about her stalking us (the concierge and I). She offers that she`s “taking care” ofsomeone`s dog while they`re out of town…

My reaction was to ask if she meant that she was “taking care” of the dog in a Mafia sense. As in whacking the dog. The concierge cut in and mentioned something about throwing the dog out of the window.

    She just smiled…

Note to owner: If you find out your dog became a pavement pancake over the weekend, youshould remember that the next time you ask someone to “take care” of your pet while you`re away on vacation, you`d better leave specific directions outside of the inferred kick the dog in the side a couple times toensure it`s alive, check fluid levels (and food), open windows to get rid of doggie poo smell (which will eventually develop intoget rid of dead, rotting dogsmell)…

    That`ll be $0.02 please :P
