Now for you folks outside of North America, please don`t confuse your local Denny`s with what we have here… Denny`s in North America is known as “last resort” or “I`m too drunk to know better” food.

Last night I actually observed a group taking a doggie bag home from Denny`s… In amazement, I asked them if what I was seeing was correct. Man did they ever get pissed off. I guess they immediately recognized that onedoesn`t take toxic waste home from a toxic waste dump unless you`re in someserious need. Ah well … that was the insinuation.. The patrons at Denny`s aren`t known for their understanding of subtlety and nuance.

Last comical affair… well outside the regular drag-queen drama that usually occurs there.. We were sitting at a table, and next to us, a group of people. One girl at the table decided to get sick and puked all over her fries. She was rapidly escorted outside to finish the job…. Now, in the meantime, some other friends of the group sat down at the table. One person from this group, while slyly looking for the opportunity to eat someone else`s fries without being caught.. well, took a chance on the puking girl`s fries… unbeknownst to him thatthe vomit was not some form of neat tartar as he might have suggested but in fact, a whole lot of puke.

We really got a kick out of it. Some people`s kids, eh?
